OUR HISTORY

From Humble Beginnings

Founded in 2018, Nissi Medical Outreach began as a small group of medical students and volunteers visiting a single village. Witnessing the overwhelming need for basic healthcare, the team committed to returning regularly.

Over the years, what started as a small mobile clinic has grown into a comprehensive organization serving thousands annually across multiple districts, driven by the same passion to serve the vulnerable.

Dr. Baale Emmanuel is a dedicated physician and visionary leader who founded Nissi Medical Outreach with a heart for serving Uganda's underserved communities. With extensive experience in community health and a deep commitment to Christ-centered care, Dr. Emmanuel leads our mission to bring hope, healing, and dignity to those who need it most.

How can I volunteer with Nissi Medical Outreach?

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds! Whether you are a medical professional, student, or have other skills to offer, you can join our team. Please visit our Volunteer page to fill out an interest form.

Where are your medical missions located?

Our missions primarily target underserved rural and peri-urban communities across Uganda. We focus on areas with limited access to government health facilities, including districts like Mukono, Gulu, and Masaka.

How are donations used?

100% of public donations go directly towards our programs. This includes purchasing medicines, medical supplies, organizing outreach camps, and supporting health education initiatives. We maintain strict financial accountability.

Do you accept medical supply donations?

Yes! We gratefully accept donations of unexpired medicines, medical equipment, and supplies. Please contact us directly at nissimedicaloutreach@gmail.com to coordinate a drop-off or shipment.
